Sales charges
The current applicable sales charge, including breakpoints, will be used as the default value for all historical calculations.
The sales charges used are based on several criteria, including: 1) the portfolio selected; 2) the share class selected, 3) the investment amount, and 4) length of time the investment was held for classes with a contingent deferred sales charge (CDSC).
Expense ratio
Expense ratios will be displayed using fiscal year-end numbers from the most recent audited financial statements, adjusted by acquired fund fees and expenses (AFFE), if any, from underlying funds that the Fund may invest in.
Class B shares will convert to A shares after eight years for calculations involving B shares held for 10 years.
All calculations will be based on the assumption of a full fiscal year of expenses and return data.

If a portfolio is less than 10 years old, all calculations will be based on the portfolio's inception date.
New portfolios or classes will appear on the calculator. However, results for these portfolios or classes will not be available until there is one full year of data as of the portfolio's fiscal year-end.
Dividends and capital gains are reinvested.
Entries are not displayed until approximately 60 days after fiscal year-end.
