BOSTON (October 5, 2023) - Three municipal bond closed end funds will complete an optional partial redemption of preferred shares on November 3, 2023.

BOSTON (May 9, 2024) – MFS Investment Management® (MFS®) is making a portfolio management team announcement for MFS® Government Markets Income Trust (NYSE: MGF), MFS® High Income Municipal Trust (NYSE: CXE), MFS® High Yield Municipal Trust (NYSE: CMU), MFS® Intermediate Income Trust (NYSE: MIN), MFS® Investment Grade Municipal Trust (NYSE: CXH), and MFS® Municipal Income Trust (NYSE: MFM), each a closed-end fund. 

BOSTON (April 29, 2024) – MFS Investment Management® (MFS®) announced a liquidating distribution for MFS Special Value Trust (NYSE American: MFV), a closed-end management investment company ("the fund"). The distribution is payable on April 29, 2024, to shareholders of the fund at the close of business on April 10, 2024. The liquidating distribution is being made pursuant to the fund’s plan of liquidation and termination, as initially announced on February 13, 2024. The liquidating distribution will be paid entirely in cash and will represent all of the fund’s net assets except for amounts set aside for reasonably ascertainable liabilities and obligations of the fund.

BOSTON (February 13, 2024) – MFS Investment Management® (“MFS®”) announced that, at a meeting held today, the Board of Trustees of MFS® Special Value Trust (the “fund”) (NYSE: MFV), a closed-end management investment company, approved a plan of liquidation and termination for the fund (the "liquidation"). The liquidation is currently expected to be completed on or about April 29, 2024.

BOSTON (November 13, 2023) – MFS® High Yield Municipal Trust (the “Fund”) (NYSE: CMU) announced today that, in accordance with its tender offer for up to 10% of the Fund’s outstanding common shares (the “Shares”), which expired at 5:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time, on November 6, 2023, the Fund has accepted 2,832,532 Shares, representing 10% of Shares, for payment on or about November 15, 2023.

BOSTON (November 13, 2023) – MFS Investment Grade Municipal Trust (the “Fund”) (NYSE: CXH) announced today that, in accordance with its tender offer for up to 10% of the Fund’s outstanding common shares (the “Shares”), which expired at 5:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time, on November 6, 2023, the Fund has accepted 911,025 Shares, representing 10% of Shares, for payment on or about November 15, 2023.

BOSTON (November 7, 2023) – MFS® High Yield Municipal Trust (the “Fund”) (NYSE: CMU) announced today that its tender offer for 2,832,531 shares of the Fund’s outstanding common shares (the “Shares”), representing approximately 10% of the Fund’s outstanding shares, expired at 5:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time, on November 6, 2023.

BOSTON (November 7, 2023) – MFS® Investment Grade Municipal Trust (the “Fund”) (NYSE: CXH) announced today that its tender offer for 911,024 shares of the Fund’s outstanding common shares (the “Shares”), representing approximately 10% of the Fund’s outstanding shares, expired at 5:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time, on November 6, 2023.

BOSTON (August 25, 2023) – MFS Investment Management® (MFS®) announced today that the Board of Trustees (the "Board") of MFS Investment Grade Municipal Trust (the "Fund") (NYSE: CXH), a closed-end management investment company, authorized the Fund to conduct a cash tender offer (the  "Tender Offer") for up to 10% of the Fund’s outstanding common shares (the “Shares”) at a price per Share equal to 98% of the Fund’s net asset value (“NAV”) per Share as of the close of regular trading on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”) on the date the Tender Offer expires.  The Fund expects to commence the Tender Offer on or before October 6, 2023.
